Online health and personal fitness coach for rural women
One-to-one coaching for women to Find Your FITT
Work with me to build more strength, manage menopause, ease pain, or feel more like yourself. I understand rural life, and we’ll create a plan that fits your body, your daily routine and goals.
Why one-to-one online personal fitness coaching might be just what you need
If you’re dealing with stubborn weight gain, achy joints, that bone-deep tiredness, or the challenges of menopause, you deserve more than a generic plan that wasn’t made for you. You deserve someone who actually gets it, someone who’ll sit with you, really listen, and help you create a path ahead.
That’s what one-to-one coaching gives you. Your own women’s personal trainer and health coach who sees all of you. I will workshop and discuss how you move, what you eat, how you sleep, your stress levels, and what’s happening with your hormones, then create a plan that actually fits into your life. And a space where you can unpack it all privately.
About your online personal fitness coach
I’m Michelle, your one-to-one personal fitness and health coach. I’m a former Kaniva (Victoria) local who understands what life in a rural community looks like because I’ve lived it. I’ve worked in fitness since leaving Kaniva in 1994, and I’m a Level 3 Health and Wellness Coach, a qualified personal trainer, and a long-term TAFE SA educator teaching Certificate III and IV in Fitness.
I created Find Your FITT to provide rural women with practical, realistic support for movement, nutrition, sleep, stress, and menopausal changes so that they can feel stronger, healthier, and more confident in their bodies.

How one-on-one coaching works?
Step 1
Simple questionnaire
Before we meet, you’ll complete a short online form that asks about your your current energy levels, sleep, exercise, nutrition, stress levels and overall health. It helps us both arrive at your first session already focused on what matters most to you.
Step 2
Online coaching sessions
We’ll meet for about 60 minutes via video call. You’ll share what’s happening in your body and your life, and together we’ll work out practical steps for the week ahead.
Depending on what you want to focus on, we might explore basic movement options, simple at-home strength training options, food intake patterns, stress triggers, sleep routines, or menopausal symptoms.
Step 3
Follow-up notes and next steps
After each session, you’ll receive notes and action points. These might include a simple strength routine, movement, food swaps, sleep ideas, or small daily practices. When we meet next, we’ll talk about what worked, what felt hard, and what needs adjusting so your plan always reflects your real life.
What we can work on together in your personal coaching session
Many women in rural communities face common but often under-supported challenges like weight gain, joint pain, and menopause symptoms. One-to-one coaching offers accessible health and fitness mentoring that builds confidence, improves physical capacity, and supports a better quality of life.
The one-on-one personal health and fitness coaching is built around four core building blocks. Movement and fitness, food and everyday eating, sleep and stress, and menopause and life balance. These areas work together to support your energy, strength, and overall wellbeing. You choose what to focus on based on your goals and what feels most pressing right now, and we’ll shape your sessions around that.

Food and everyday eating
- Use Eat for Health resources in a way that suits your family and budget
- Look at your food diary together and find simple changes, not strict rules

- Understand how hormones like cortisol shift through the day and impact your energy
- Learn about the importance of sunshine and setting your circadian rhythm
- Add small practices for rest, gratitude, and stress awareness
- Find simple ways to build recovery into busy rural days
Menopause, mindfulness, and balance
- Talk openly about perimenopause and menopause symptoms without judgment
- Look at pelvic floor health, mood shifts, energy changes, and weight concerns
- Explore easy mindfulness ideas that don’t require long sessions or quiet spaces

Frequently asked questions personal health and fitness coach for women living in rural areas
What happens in a one-to-one session?
We meet online by video call and talk through what’s happening in your body and your life right now. Together we agree on one or two focus areas for the week, and you leave with a small number of practical steps you can actually try.
Do I need to do a group program first?
No. You can start with one-to-one coaching whenever it feels right. Some women begin here, while others complete a twelve-week group program first and then use one-to-one coaching for extra focus on specific areas.
Can we focus on only one area, like movement or food?
Absolutely. Your sessions are built around your goals. You can choose to focus mainly on movement, food, sleep, stress, menopause support, or a mix of these. The questionnaire and first session help us clarify what will be most helpful for you.
Is this suitable if I have pain, injury, or menopause symptoms?
Yes. Many women who choose one-to-one coaching are dealing with pain, past injuries, or active menopause symptoms. We’ll move at your pace and focus on what feels safe and realistic for your body. You’ll always be encouraged to check in with your health provider about any medical questions.
You just need a starting point
